My name is Chizoba Ezenwa and I served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Benin, West Africa. I graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) with a B.A. in International Studies -- Africa and a minor in International Development and Humanitarian Assistance. I specifically served as a Food Security Extension Agent as part of the first ever launch of the Sustainable Agriculture Systems Project (SAS)! This blog was an opportunity for me to document my journey, share this experience with family and friends, and serve as a platform for better understanding of this small part of Africa. Now, having finished my service, it is a wonderful reflection tool and still, I believe, accomplishes my original goals.
